Damn, I didn't want to turn 45 yet.    [Scooby Doo voice] Ranks a rot! [/Scooby Doo voice]

but seriously, thanks for thinking of me!  Como es la vida de una esposa?  (hope that came out right)

Nope, I was 14 that summer when "Da Doo Ron Ron" was a hit & my memory of the song is limited to riding shotgun on my uncle's tractor (I spent that summer on his farm) listening to AM Top 40.  I had only just begun to admit that I liked girls that summer & even had my first crush on one Patty Huisman, but nothing remotely as conclusive as a slow dance ever came of it.  I was pretty much chickenshit with the girls for another year or so.

Happy Birthday indeed!  I don't know if this is a silly feature, but if you enter your birthday in your profile, it displays on the calendar!  (Check out December)

Alicat's favorite place on Ralston.  Forget the name, but we've met there 3 or 4 times already.

What are the odds?  Our small group has two with the same birthday!

Joyous celebration to you.

What are the odds?  Our small group has two with the same birthday!

This is actually a great mathematical question, Geoff, and one you could easily use in your class sometime.

Imagine a room with one person in it and a line out the door of people who will enter one by one.  Obviously the odds of a birthday match increase each time someone enters, but at what point do the odds become better than 50-50?  The answer is very counter-intuitive, but easy to prove.

I'll answer you first question specifically about me & Tinka later.
