In that case you can tell me what the correct lyric is, this song has a big Mondegreen for me in it.

What did Lido's note say?

Lido be runnin'
Havin' great big fun un-
til he got the note.

Sayin' _______________(?)

sayin' "toe the line or blow" and that was all she wrote

Apologies for the off-topic post, but it's kinda big, at least for baseball fans.

Rafael Palmeiro, who got his 3000th hit about two weeks ago, tested positive for steroids, just hit the wires about 20 minutes ago:

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2005/baseball/mlb/08/01/steroids.suspension/

He shoulda stuck with the Viagra....

Wow... they had a big discussion last nite about whether on not he belongs in the HOF.
You spin me right 'round, baby, right 'round

"In a prepared statement, Palmeiro said he could not explain how the steroids got into his body"

2 words: counterfeit Viagra.

I took his apologetic intro to mean that he would NOT be repeating the Local Bands by decade sets that he did for Local Artist Month last year. Fine by me--a couple of them were not bad, but hopefully most Fogheads are at least attuned enough to know what bands have local roots.
Let's get right to it.

Sort of. They got their start in Berkeley, although I think for the most part they're an LA band these days.
