Anyone else go to the SF Street Food Festival?

It was totally packed, and a lot of fun.

Per SF Foodie, its offically "too big for the Mission" and may be moved to the AT&T Park parking lots next year.

wow, this place is just a few blocks from my house and I've never been inside it. Suddenly it's gone from hoi-polloi to hoity-toity!

Excellent piece. I can think of exceptions to one or two of his points, but they're specific to my current locale (in the middle of Oregon Pinot Noir country) so pretty much all of what he says is generally dead on.
Let's get right to it.

never mind taxing the rich -- tax the FAT! The Danish gov't is doing just that:

In a related story, Chris Christie has cancelled a planned trip to Denmark...

Wonder if this story inspired Dred's "Hard Times" theme on Connected?

Saw that. Given the number of cheesemakers in Marin & Sonoma, I think we def. made the right move in taking our act to Oregon. Good article though. And the woman who wrote it, Janet Fletcher, visited us here last week, so with any luck you might be reading the Briar Rose name in the Chron one of these days.
Let's get right to it.

Berkeley burrito boyz make it big in the Apple:

Of interest to Gaz, if no one else. Dunno if this place came up when we discussed "best burritos in NYC".
