Bwhahaha!  I'd've never identified this -- thanks!  I was gonna guess Black Crowes just 'cause it's an Otis Redding song, but it didn't really sound like them.

it's called Dreams I'll Never See -- Allman Bros wrote it.  (eta:  specifically, Gregg Allman wrote it)

it's called Dreams I'll Never See -- Allman Bros wrote it.

wow, thanks again. it has the phrase "I've Got Dreams to remember" and so I assumed it was (a radical reworking of) the Otis tune.

Petty and the Goat? I'd've preferred the Ramones' version of "Needles'n'Pinza"

BOS5 Stones workin' they 'magination. One of my favorite Motown covers, even if Mick saying "what about... 2 girls fo' me?" is a tad creepy.
