Wow, this was within a couple months of her taking over the reins. TOTHK notwithstanding, there are some good songs in here.

Both the Chron and Examiner dip a toe into the pool of online publishing.
"NOOOOOO!!!! STOP!!! Don't do it!!!! You'll regret it!!!"
(Says the guy who's worked in internet publishing for most of the last 15 years.)

BOS for Devo. I'm through being cool too. Of course, I never was.

Eliminating the ninnies and the twits. BOS Devo.

I always like their musicianship, almost never like their songs...

Devo, Rush and King Crimson: three different flavors of progressive rock in this set. Nice.

Enjoying this King Crimson. NTM.
Does Devo count as progressive? That seems at odds with their policy of devolution.
-
Yessongs, was it you who lives in Corvallis? I was just down there yesterday.
(Or am I confusing you with someone else? If that's so, then forget I said anything.)
ETA: Scratch that -- it was Rastermon (another occasional contributor here) that I was thinking of.

Yeah, I went and looked at the member list after I posted that. It was Rastermon I was thinking of.
Drive through.

HM for the Runaways' "Bad Reputation", doing a fine Ramones impression. (Guess this is just Joan Jett...)
-
And we end oh so tastefully with a little punk rawk, from the inimitable Joan Jett. Anti-prog.
BOSwhatever.
Pretty decent by whatever yardstick you use.

I've wanted the return of AL 1.0, and this week my wish came true!
