1.  Spirit, Fresh Garbage
2.  Jimi Hendrix, Rainy Day Dream Away
3.  Supremes, Love Child
4.  Blue Cheer, Summertime Blues
5.  Traffic, 40,000 Headmen
6.  Simon and Garfunkel, Old Friends
7.  Lemon Pipers, Green Tambourine
8.  Cream, Born Under a Bad Sign
9.  Beatles, Hey Jude
10. Zombies, Time of the Season

1-6: impressive

7-10: diminishing returns. (Seriously, how many times have we heard "Hey Jude" in the RR era alone, much less overall?)
You spin me right 'round, baby, right 'round

Renee:  BOS goes to the Beatles, VHM for Jimi & the Zombies.

Traffic's 40,000 Headmen is today's bust-out.

Hey Jude has appeared eleven times overall, with three spins by Renee.  The Cream track
has only been played once before, while Love Child is definitely a FF.

I heard Renee announce this with the added: "You guys are so predictable.  The Beatles get BOS."

Renee will keep playing it if it keeps getting BOS...

The reason I posted the pics of the Fillmore/Winterland posters was that 4 of the bands in this 10@10 were represented, 3 of them on one of them!  But, it made me wonder if H. P. Lovecraft has ever been heard here.  "The White Ship" was a total staple of KMPX back in '67.  Dischead?

I confess ignorance.  The wiki description intrigues me.

I imagine The White Ship sounds dated and corny to others, but to a 16-17 year old boy listening to KMPX in the suburbs of what would someday be called Silicon Valley, it was like a beacon to another world.
