"For What it's Worth", this is a great song that has become the most overused oldie this side of "Happy Together". It was in the new movie Lord of War which I saw the other night, about the billionth movie it's been used in, and directors should declare a moratorium on it for the next 5 years.
How was it? I've been a big Nicholas Cage fan ever since Valley Girl.
I saw Corpse Bride over the weekend, very good if you like Tim Burton. If you don't, I'm not sure what you'd make of it.
I liked LOW, it's entertaining, tho' it makes its point a bit preachily. Someone called it
Blow with guns instead of coke, and sure enough I watched part of
Blow on cable the other night and that's a good description.
Also saw CB and it's great-looking. A bit short, tho' (not counting end credits its about 70 mins) and I felt it was missingsome character development -- I didn't really care whether he wound up with the live girl or the dead chick. Dude, she's like totally Goth!
