Very odd drug "promo" from Sonny Bono.

And a BOS for the Rascals. (I'm guessing that's who this is. NTM!)

BOS5 "Valleri" -- one of my fave Monkees 45s.
Mine too, though I've always thought the guitar noodling was out of place.

Long-rumored to have been Frank Zappa, tho' apparently not the case.

"I love her valleri -- it's the nicest valleri I've ever seen"

It's a Tommy Boyce/Bobby Hart production featuring the Wrecking Crew as session men.  I'm guessing the solo was performed by Louie Shelton.

"Four gentlemen and one great, great broad."  BOS4 Big Brother. Proxy of Geoff.
Yeah, guilty as charged.  I really dig the energy in the grooves here.

Absolutely.  Such a sweet song.

And today's bust-out as well.

Big Brother & The Holding Company "Combination Of The Two"
This song hasn't aged too well, but I bet it would have been fun to be at that show.

I must respectfully disagree... I find this song as fresh as ever.

Very odd drug "promo" from Sonny Bono.

It's not a PSA in the usual sense, but a short film starring Sonny Bono called "Marijuana" that
purportedly presented the truth about the drug and was intended to discourage its use.  It was
shown at my school in 1968, and of course it sparked my interest and made me more curious
about trying pot.  Like so many things these days, I think it can be found on Youtube.

I'd hope not, because I don't think it's very good.
I looked it up on wikipedia, since I wondered if it was Tommy Tedesco.  The article says it was Louie Shelton.
