BOS3 Jackson Browne, "Redneck Friend", nudgenudge winkwink.

One of his songs I can still listen to (with pleasure).  :-)
Now I'm eight bits...

Morey reference 2: Flash Bazbo!  BOS4.

And our daily song-from-the-wrong-year: "Radar Love", a Summer of '74 hit.

Why research new clips when Dave did it so well in the first place?

Still, can't complain about any Firesign Theatre National Lampoon bits.

And fully agree about the mis-assignment of Radar Love to 73. I distinctly remember hearing it several times a day during a family car vacation to the Spokane Worlds Fair in the summer of '74 (along with Tell Me Something Good and Clap For the Wolfman, among others).
Let's get right to it.

Wiki sez it was orig released in '73 but NOBODY heard it until the following summer.

OMG: more black folks! So of course we get "Love Train", an Oldies 103.7 special.

and some Zep too!  BOS5 "Dancin' Days" "Houses of the Holy" which I think RR played fairly recently, no?

Yes, Percy, I *am* dizzy when I'm stoned. Thanks for asking.

The last '73 set in June led off (see what I did there?) with The Ocean. And isn't this Houses of the Holy, which is on (counterintuitively) Physical Graffiti, which came out in '75?

ETA: Yep.

that's hilarious.  I did mis-identify. But yeah, it makes sense to RR that "Houses of the Holy" would be from, er, Houses of the Holy.

And capn jack's '73 set will sound real good right now.

Renee just lost any Zep cred she had accumulated -- her personal BOS is often a Zep track.
