A very enjoyable set. Nothing we haven't heard before, of course, but yet it seemed better-chosen than your typical DC '74 excursion.  The "Oldies 103.7 factor" was low.  They're mining old Morey setlists to be sure.

Heavy metal?  Perhaps -- just perhaps -- the Aqualung album might be considered heavy metal,
but I would be hard-pressed to classify Jethro Tull as a heavy metal band, and certainly not
this song, which is fairly lightweight.

I totally agree.  Like with other major artists, AL was starting to play deeper into their catalog,
with songs like Cross-Eyed Mary, Nothing Is Easy, and Reasons For Waiting.  After looking into
it, I was surprised to discover that this is the first Tull song since September 14, 2011!  That's
21 months of no Tull.

We could probably generate a huge list of artists that we should hear more of... my personal
pick would be Procol Harum.  They had a number of FM radio "hits," but the only two that ever
get played are A Whiter Shade of Pale and Conquistador.

but I would be hard-pressed to classify Jethro Tull as a heavy metal band, and certainly not
this song, which is fairly lightweight.

Mike's quip referred to Jethro Tull winning the first Grammy in the Hard Rock/Metal category in 1988.  They beat out Metallica.  Eyes are still rolling to this day.

Certainly much of Tull's work is mellow, but having seen "Locomotive Breath" live back in the day, it doesn't get a lot heavier than that.
