since she said this was based on a survey of...herself, I am guessing this was her wedding dance song.

EDIT: Well, of course I wound up doing so anyway. Will still skip the replay. If you're going to do a personal countdown, you at least need fabricate something. Or at least Renee needs to.

I certainly don't need to hear it more than once a year, but I'll defend it vigorously as a piece of stellar, old-school songwriting. Sinatra covered it for a reason, and he was rather picky about "contemporary" tunes.

As to the Pretenders, it's one of their weakest, the-record-company-made-us-do-it tracks, tho Chrissie's vocal is fine -- she can sing the phone book. And iirc they didn't even write that one.
