LN, 1995

a shelter

I'm tempted to say that Corrective Soles tune was a bustout, not that it matters in a set that bad.

sheesh, '90s twice in one week.

Any idea what the Sound is offering up today?

'78.

and looky, they posted the set-list early:

Wheel in the Sky - Journey
Who Are You - The Who
With a Little Luck - Wings
Double Vision - Foreigner
Because the Night - Patti Smith
Feel Like a Number - Bob Seger
Next To You - Police
Whenever I Call You Friend - Kenny Loggins
Shattered - Rolling Stones
Time for Me to Fly - REO Speedwagon

Meh.

That's where I was, and although nothing earth-shattering (like that ever happens on The Sound...) I'm glad I skipped KFOG.

I liked Wings, Patti Smith, Kenny Loggins (w Goat) and REO.

Beb Seger is meh, and I'm over the Police (though that tune is a dance-maker.)

Soft Spot for Journey and Lou Gramm & Foreigner, though...

I thought a many of the songs were ok but for me this was an example of the sum of its parts not being equal to the whole.  Probably due to all the LN's.  My good/necessary list:

Gel B/B
Days Like These C/F
Head Over Feet B/D
Stupid Girl A-/F
You Were Meant For Me F/F
High And Dry F/D
Corduroy D/C-
Wonderwall B/F- (overplayed on 10@10, overplayed on every station in the universe...F- candidate)
Don’t Speak B-/F- (ditto)
Tonight, Tonight A-/B-

Rad and I have the same opinion w/ respect to Van The Man. Yeah, his more recent material is ok, but just doesn't need to heard.

indeed, legend tho' he is, he stopped being interesting to me not long after "Wavelength".  All his '80s/'90s/'00s songs are the same song to me, pretty much.
