Hey, there was an explosion at Post & Kearny about 15 minutes ago:

Well it appears that SFGate is getting a huge amount of traffic as everyone in downtown is trying to get to that page to find out what the f*** is going on, so that page is not loading. Sorry.
Let's get right to it.

I noticed that too, here's the AP feed so far:

SAN FRANCISCO - An explosion injured a woman and set a clothing store on fire Friday in the downtown shopping district.

Firefighters and police evacuated several blocks around the store in the Crocker Galleria area, said fire spokesman Peter Howes.

A witness told KCBS radio that a woman was engulfed in flames from the blast which shattered the Ralph Lauren store's windows just before 10 a.m. Another witness said the blast seemed to have originated under the sidewalk.

Seems like most of the news pages are slow loading all of a sudden. Go figure.

Mark are you doing this or am I?

And it starts with the all-time '72 Katrina, All the Young Dudes. Great tune nonetheless.

I was in my car until now.

Trivia Question:  What do Mott the Hoople, Luther van Dross, Iggy Pop & Stevie Ray Vaughan have in common?

Beuller?  Anybody?

they have Bowie in common.

But is your misspelling of Vandross as Van Dross a comment on the quality of Luther's music?

No, just typing too fast to catch my error.

I'm sure you in fact know the answer, but for those who aren't clear on it, could you be more specific?
