Hope Gaz gets to see the Jeep Liberty commercial that has Andy Kim's "Rock Me Gently" performed by singing animals (!).

Gosh, I forgot how much I've been craving Taco Bell. It's sad, I know.

Say it's not so, Joe!

I saw that too.  From the time stamp on your post, must have been the same time, during the playoff game.

Within minutes of each other at the Oscars:

Robert Plant & Allison Krauss' "Killing the Blues" for JC Penney and The The's "This is the Day" for... M&Ms.

Not that I've seen. (Which means it hasn't been on Bravo, History, HGTV, Food Network, or Giants games.)

Meat's voice is sounding a little thin these days, although he's dropped a bunch of weight so good for him there. But the kid that plays his son is a dead ringer--I'd totally believe they were related.
Let's get right to it.

I saw it in NYC this week, damned if I can remember what channel.

It's played repeatedly during American Idol (last night was Andrew Lloyd Webber night, very strange).  Which says too much about my viewing habits.  :-[  Still, there's so many commercials in AI that I still was able to flip back and forth between it and the Sharks game so I saw most of the goals scored...

I was saddened to see Curtis Mayfield's "Move on Up" turned into a commercial for Aleve.  :'(

Meanwhile the already ridiculously-overused "Mr Blue Sky" has been tapped yet again, this time by Jet Blue.

This one's kind of odd: a new Chevy commercial where a chorus of whistlers is whistling a tune in the background. Sounded familiar; I had to see the spot a 2nd time to figure out that the song being whistled is... the Lemonheads' "It's a Shame About Ray". WTF?
