The actor who was an original Mouseketeer and later played Robbie Douglas on My Three Sons died of cancer.

He was born in SF and as a child lived in Lafayette. In addition to the
Mickey Mouse Club
and
My Three Sons
, which ran 380 episodes from 1960-72, he was the drummer for the band Yellow Balloon, which had a #25 hit in 1967 with the song "Yellow Balloon." He also composed and played music for TV and films. His sister Lani O'Grady played oldest sister Mary Bradford on the '77-81 TV show
Eight Is Enough
. She died of an overdose in 2001 at age 46. His obit:
