My best buddy from college, Steve (Gaz has drunk wine on his Lake Union houseboat) had the laser  etched copy of this Split Enz LP.  Wonder if he still has it & how much it's worth on eBay?

phoned in a 10-way tie vote, but told Dave if pressed I'd give BOS to Peter Jennings & added that I thought that was a very nice touch.  He seemed to appreciate that I noticed.

although that was before the Police, which I swear KFOG is playing at least every other hour during regular palylist time.

I still like "Driven To Tears", but liked it more 2 months ago.

Indeed, we got "Roxanne" in the 9:00 hour.

I really need to get TiVo so I can record Harvey Birdman.

I tape them. Even if I'm watching them.

The jokes fly by so fast- sometimes you need to slow it down frame-by-frame!

Delayed vote. Can't really hear 10@10 while at work most days. BOS Grateful Dead. Wonderful tune.
Close second, STOMP!

I've noticed that JACK-format stations are very Police-topheavy: I wonder if KFOG's programming at least a little bit in response to that.  Have they brought Def Leppard's Hysteria album out of mothballs?  (I find that one to be JACK-overrepresented as well.)

Hope you weren't listening last nite: about 20 minutes after the 10@10 replay ended, they played "Driven to Tears" AGAIN!  They really need a continuity person.

And I heard it yet again this morning when my alarm went off, a few minutes after 7. That damn song must have charted at or near the top of the last listener music survey. Perhaps we should start a thread for songs KFOG is playing to death?

Which reminds me: nine days into "Local Artist Month" I am officially Sick To Death of that Luce "buy a dog and take him home" song.
Let's get right to it.

You going to be able to get away for the live broadcast of the Morning show this Friday? Redwood City, they're right in your back yard.

I got my name on the guest list for preferred seating & first dibs on the food spread & Ali is trying to swing it.  I bet we could get somebody else in if we tried.  Anyone interested?

btw, this is as far south as they are coming this year.  No obligatory KFFG appearance.
