Eno (?) gets a BOSFRA.

But again I ask, why is something as obscure as this OK to play but not an obvious pop hit (*cough* Lisa Stansfield *cough*) that everyone would know?

Lisa night be a little too smoove jazz/Sade/Anita Baker for the KFOG rawker demo.  .... Although we've heard Sade before.

oh, but this U2 version of Cole Porter's Night And Day is from the Red Hot + Blue LP, which Lisa Stansfield also appeared on:

and that was one example off the top o' me head -- I was also thinking Biz Markie, Was/Not Was, Lita Ford, and on and on.

LN4: MC Hammer -- which has made many 10@10 appearances over the years (even in the Morey era).  Biz Markie woulda been SOOO much better.

But: props on the Henry & June clips -- a movie very few in the target demo saw, I'll wager.

Ten 1990 Top 40 hits that I don't believe have ever been on 10@10:

“All Around The World”, Lisa Stansfield
“Cherry Pie”, Warrant
“Blaze Of Glory”, Jon Bon Jovi
“Don’t Wanna Fall In Love”, Jane Child
“Make You Sweat”, Keith Sweat
“Black Cat”, Janet Jackson
“Say A Prayer”, Breathe
“Cruising For Bruising”, Basia
“Poison”, Bell Biv Divoe
“Vogue”, Madonna

I'm almost certain "Cherry Pie" has been played (giggle), and "Black Cat", and probably "Vogue", though I have no proof of any of that.  I'd be really surprised if the Bon Jovi has never been played, but it doesn't come to mind.

Dave played "Cherry Pie" and "Vogue", most definitely. I *wish* I could say the same for "Black Cat" (he completely avoided Miss Jackson-if-ya-nasty for some reason).  I think the Jane Child has made an appearance.

ETA: Dave (per the shraytabase) played Warrant's "Heaven" 3 times (!) but not Cherry Pie, but I can't swear AL never played it. "Vogue" was also a Dave 3-timer.

Yeah, I recall "Heaven" being played, but in spite of multiple requests, "Cherry Pie" hasn't.

I'll change my Madonna listing to "Hanky Panky".
