I think--I was working during the intro--didn't catch what Don said.

TOTHC? Abracadabra? Oh, please...

I loved it!

My definitive new wave song - Tainted Love

one of Dave's fave obscurities, this Flash & the Pan thingy. Hard to believe these guys were also the Easybeats -- and were responsible for "Love is in the Air".

Yep--Harry Vanda & George Young. They're quite revered in the UK, not so well known here. I remember reading a lengthy MOJO feature on them several years ago.

And a related trivia question: one of them has two younger brothers who made it VERY big in the late 70s in a hard rock band. Name the brothers and/or the band. (They're almost synonymous so one will get you the other.)

Angus & Malcom = AC/DC

(easiest trivia you ever asked  :) )

Dingdingdingding!!!

Sometimes ya gotta float one right over the plate--never know if you'll sneak it past 'em or not. Did you know it already, or did ya put it together (two bros in a late 70s hard rock band--how many can there be?)
Let's get right to it.

I knew it long ago, but I always thought Vanda & Young were just the producers/writers for Flash & The Pan.  Not the performers.
