Great big BOS for Baaaaaaahb!  One of my faves by him.

And the funny thing is that the first time I remember hearing this was when I heard it at Stanford by the Grateful Dead.

BOS3 Liz & Dick as Martha & George.

BOS4 13th Floor Elevators -- closest to a rarity we're gonna get, I fear.
I'll BOS "You're Gonna Need Me" too. Though this was definitely a Morey standard.

wow, really? it's not in the Shraytabase.  But in the early days of 10@10 when '60s sets dominated, i would imagine he played it often (I didn't discover the show until 1992.)

BOS5 Zimmy.

Yup, that's how I remember it,  along with other garage band stuff like The Seeds ("Pushing Too Hard") and the Leaves ("Hey Joe") and the Strawberry Alarm Clock ("Incense and Peppermints").

Wouldn't it be nice if AL could play 10 songs that she actually wants to play?

I saw a couple eps of Family Affair over Xmas holiday (they air on MeTV).  One was when Buffy broke her leg playing on the kids' baseball team.  Anissa Jones, the child actress who played Buffy (and who famously OD'd when she was 18), really did break hger leg and they wrote that into her character.   OMG, she was such a cute kid.

Nuggets, either the single CD, expanded 4-CD or the original vinyl is such a cool collection of those 60s garage band tunes!  I keep my 4-cd set handy for those "gotta hear it" moments.  AL should do an entire 10at10 off Nuggets. Check out the track listings:

Shaw nuff!  I have both of those too.  Along with girl groups, I think garage bands were Dave's 60's favorites.

is it me, or does Roky's signature vibrato sound a lot like a certain someone's infamous giggle?

 ???

I heard that too -- at first I thought she was actually giggling over the opening for no apparent reason.
