there are some good songs in 1991  (iTunes list)
if ONLY Dave would play Prince in this set.

But Bryan Adams' "Everything I Do" does not qualify as a "good" song

Well, you guys can't do much Katrina Komplaining so far!  I don't know most of these songs!

First Katrina of Set, which will undoubtedly be the BOS: "Girlfriend."

I don't get Matthew Sweet.  Sure, I like fuzztone guitar, but I've heard much, much better.

I predict at least one if not two Kate Pierson guest appearances ("Candy", "Shiny Happy People") this set, along with Black Crowes & Bonnie Raitt.  (ETA: and either Jesus Jones or EMF)

What I would like to hear but predict I won't are "Set Adrift On Memory Bliss" - PM Dawn & "OPP" - Naughty By Nature.

That's cool, I'l take "Texarkana" over "Shiny Happy People" any day.

I'm kind of over "Girlfriend."  But his In Reverse album is an utter masterstroke.  Especially if you like Walls of Sound, Carol Kaye on bass, and Greg Leisz on pedal steel & other guitars.

Yes, the crankies come off for a brief respite!

geoffgould: I'd like to vote for Mark Knopfler.  If you have a second, can you tell me what album this is on?
davemocal: Dire Straits - On Every Street
geoffgould: thank you kindly sir!

Dammit, I was SO going to post a wish for "Rush".

"Situation Nowhere" describes my mindset today COMPLETELY.

BOS 2 to BAD II.

Most dramatic song-breakdown ever to break into the Top 40: B.A.D., "Rush."  A VHM as well.
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”
