seems without "Tenderness" there's something missing.  I'll try not to say something spiteful.
a coworker thinks this is English Beat, right?

the general public doesn't know from General Public.

http://nooooooooooooooo.com/ 2: Yes.

nice Jobs/Apple theme going.   "Oh, The Ghost In You," he said to his Mac.

Noticed that too.  I think Annalisa must be in mourning.  Imagine Geoff is also.

p.s.  thanks for the proxies!

An amazing outpouring of love for such a greedy* meglomaniac.  But he WAS a visionary greedy meglomaniac.  RIP.

I never liked Yes, but the bass line during the main verse is pretty snappy!

General public, but they were offshoots from English Beat.

I would have BOS'd a couple of the other songs had I tuned in sooner, but happy to save it for Tones On Tail.

In accordance with Newton's Third Law (equal and opposite forces), I also am finding (especially here) an overreaction in the opposite direction to the deification perceived in the media.  There is a reality distortion field for those who think of Jobs only as a rich pushy guy.

Well said.   I've noticed that, too.   But when you say 'especially here' do you mean the Bay Area?  or this board?  or your school?

KQED's Forum was all about Steve Jobs today, and NYT tech reporter John Markoff (sp?) and some SJMerc reporter told a few anecdotes about Jobs.

Don't take me too seriously here... Like I said, I'm a little pissed at apple and it's proprietary stranglehold on my wallet right now.  I have a higher opinion of Jobs than you might think.  But I'm certainly not personally, emotionally invested in the man himself, and try to steer clear of that kind of hero worship.
