Epic segue fail.  Should've played Blondie instead of boring ass Jack.

my students know this song, not a good sign!
 ;)

They knew it was Santana, but didn't know the singer.

I still don't know the singer

I hear two singers: one with a higher crooner voice and another straight rapper, who mentions "aw, yah... Carlos Santana with The Refugee Gang and Wyclef (Jean?)."

Potential '99 Katrinas:

Moby, "Porcelain" and "Southside"
Old 97s: "Murder or a Heart Attack"
Fatboy Slim, "Praise You"
Filter "Take a Picture"
Guster "Barrel of a Gun"
Blur "Coffee & TV"

all have appeared at least twice, and we've only visited 1999 five times.

and Moby's Southside....right on queue.
