Shootin' dope!  (Shootin' dope!)
Losin' hope!  (Losin' hope!)

There's something about this PSA and Sly's "Running Away" that sound exactly like I remember the early '70s feeling, if that makes any sense -- as if I have some vestigial sound-memories of the things I don't remember seeing or feeling.

Doors sounding nice.  I predict Dave finishes off with Elton's "Friends."

I like how the "sixxx-sixxx-sixxx" was in time with the shuffle of "Draggin' the Line."  Could have done without Harold and Sally, though.

If he had put THAT much effort into it I wouldn't complain. But, basically he does this lil talky intro that makes no sense. Then, instead of just sampling- he, like, plays the whole song. Oh, but he'll add little bits here & there....

Morrision: Riders on the storm...
Snoop: (whispered) ride, ride, ride...
Morrision: Riders on the storm....

and so on.

have we heard H&M one too many times?

"I think that's a 'yes', don't you, Harold?"

KFOG is plugging "H&M the Musical" and Dave is pretty psyched. Interesting Mick LaSalle rumination on H&M in yesterday's Chron (like me, he's only just recently seen it for the first time).  He dissed Cat Stevens, the bastard!

Close ...  Maybe now we can finish off with "L.A. Goodbye"?

This is a beautiful song.  Very guitarry for EJ.

BOS to "Family Affair."  So frightening, yet so irresistible; so genius, yet so sloppy.  An amazing track, if not the easiest listen.
