Interesting, it's a 60's set and it's an old folks home in the old clubhouse.  Could be the others are otherwise occupied.

I think some of us were camping out on FB trying to find ways to be snarky without being too offensive -- at least I was!

Either that, or they're politely repulsed, and not slagging the dinosaur music!

I love the 60s!  I'm actually getting sick of KFOG's version the 80s, to be quite honest...

I tend to have this page and AL's FB open simultaneously (and often post the same comments both places).  I get to use the jokes i've over-used here for the first time over there, and suddenly I'm a comic genius.

Is it my imagination, or is their version of the '80s very alt-rock heavy, to the exclusion of, say, Journey? (which is certainly not a bad idea, actually)

No, that's not your imagination (running away with you), that's it exactly.

There needs to be a course entitled "How To Be Snarky Without Being Snarky".

In many ways this set was exactly what I feared it to be: Our token pre-1985 ride for the pay period, but without much in the way of scratching below the surface.

You will obey our overlords, we do not want our listeners to be challenged. Stay between the lines!

BOS Moodies, when they kicked ass!

yes, they're a favorite of mine, too.  In Search Of The Lost Chord was the first one I got, on cassette.

I made a comment on FB saying "Yay for the Moody's ponderous heaviosity" - I mean, I KNOW they're a little silly at times, but I diggem.

"Yeah, we're badass. ... Hey, anyone seen my flute and tambourine?"
