the inevitable FYC -- at least it ain't "Good Thing".  if only Dave WOULD "look back", he'd see interesting stuff in '89.  Was/Not Was... Neneh Cherry...

You definitely know "She Drives Me Crazy."

I came in late and have found the set uninspired, hence my silence.  Hope all is well with all of you!

"She Drives Me Crazy"

HM to a FYC song that I've never heard before and wasn't too annoying...

"She Drives Me Crazy" (#1) and "Don't Look Back" were also hits. And I loved them at the time but Dave's single-handedly made them a cliche. And speaking of, "End of the Innocence", another great song ruined by repetition.

Where is everybody?

Been slightly scarce--threw my back out moving some furniture and stuff over the weekend, was out yesterday, and am just catching up today.

VHM to Don Henley if only for this line: "those tired old men we elected king..."
Let's get right to it.

BOS, for the same reason. Jeff Lynne wishes he could get records to sound this good.

BOS to TFF, "The Seeds of Love."  Y'all have no idea how much I've loved this song ever since it came out.  And "kick out the Style, bring back the Jam" is a damn clever line that no one seemed to notice.

Or Tina. Or Samantha Fox. Or Cher. Or Ms Jackson if-yer-nasty. I'd even settle for Paula Abdul at this point.
