Foamy the squirrel RAWKS.

This is an absolute scream. Headphones suggested when within earshot of your supervisor, small children or your grandmother. Well, my grandmother anyway.

everyone stop what you're doing, and go here.

at the end of the interview, there is a blue link off to the right that reads:"click here to watch the video." do it. you won't regret it.

Of the many, many questions one could ask, I'll start with: Why is the soundtrack Nina Simone's "See-Line Woman"?  (Or as I jokingly mondegreenize it, "Sea Lion Woman")
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

EW: The 20 Funniest Monty Python Sketches
« Reply #24 on: March 23, 2005, 02:38:53 PM »
I would have eliminated movie scenes and stuck with the series.  But ah well:

http://www.ew.com/ew/article/commentary/0,6115,1039070_21_0_,00.html

A good list, but they left out my hands-down favorite sketch: "Biggles Dictates a Letter"!

"Concubine, fille de joie ..."

...

"Algie, are you a poof?"

...

"Si, Senor Biggles!"
"Silence, naughty lady of the night."
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

Hey, gang- if you like forums that have a "funny picture" thing, by all means check out the Pixel Challenges at Television Without Pity- where my alter ego, Sleestak Hunter, makes frequent contributions. There's a new one every week- but this wek? There's 2.

The 'Buffy Sucks' Pixel Challenge

The 'Deadwood is the New Black' Pixel Challenge
nakes? On my plane?

The Mixerman Diaries
« Reply #26 on: March 24, 2005, 05:48:00 PM »
Don't think I posted this before. This is essentially a very detailed blog, purportedly written by a recording engineer in LA during the recording of an album by a Hot Young Band (who shall remain nameless) and all the wacky stuff that goes on during the process. This was originally posted about 2 years back, and I recall wasting a lot of my time at my temp gig du jour  around that time staying caught up.

Caveat: Expect to spend a lot of time reading this--it's very long and very addictive. He's since expanded it and compiled it into book form, which he's selling via his own site.

And I just discovered that' there's a sequel here (which I have yet to read). Alas, I can't spend hours at work reading anymore:

I started reading it, and bingo!  I had to pull myself away; I waste enought time as it is!  But yes, it sounds quite intriguing!
