Woof, Oasis. *nauseous* The band I tolerated because they were a gf favorite. See also steve miller band "Joker"

Definitely NOT the next Beatles or whatever they were hyped as back then.

VHM garbage... I bought the album but got sick of this song when it was overplayed. Is it a 10@10 rule that AL only plays singles or will she play album songs, as long as it was released that year? If the latter, would prefer Queer or Fix Me.

she'll play LP cuts if people remember them or if they got airplay (this tends to be more likely in the '60s & '70s).

BOS4 Oasis. Mmmm... champagne...

Everything in this set is '95-evocative to me, most of all "Champagne Supernova."  Leaving college made '95 an astonishingly weird year for me.

Yecch...do we really need two Live 105 both then-and-now-overplays in a row?
I liked this Oasis song once upon a time too...then every station decided to run it into the ground...and bury it...and then bury it some more...

I can appreciate and sympathize with your complaint -- yet I kinda dig the irony that most of this set is songs that KFOG ignored in '95.

heh, my 95 music knowledge seems so lacking that I appreciate its familiarity.

BOS Stone Roses, HM Garbage

WOS to song #2 and the insipid lyric "I miss you like the desert misses the rain."

huh?  Deserts don't miss the rain, they do just well without it.  It's called an ecosystem, lady.

This grunge era Neil, which works for me.  Nice distorted riff.

Funny you should say that, since someone made a nearly identical comment on RadioParadise regarding that lyric.  They are pretty dumb, but the song sounds nice.

WOS I'll Be There For You.  Two words:  Uncontrollable vomiting.

heh, I know what you mean.  When I hear that song on TV I run Run RUN to change the channel, but the extendo version didn't seem that bad today.  It was there for me.
