I just posted this in your FB thread, but for everyone else -- the Motors other '78 single, "Forget About You", which TOTALLY rips off the GrassRoots' "Sooner or Later". An earworm if ever there was:

I have that 45 too! Produced by Jimmy Iovine; their last-ditch attempt at US commercial success. (it flopped)

I got to hear most of this on the car radio last week, all kinds of great bustouts, but I phoned in my vote for C'a Plane Pour Moi.

But how come it's taken the entire nation of France 30 years to come up with a better band than Plastic Bertrand?  (I do loves me some Phoenix).
