Q: How are Florida and Wisconsin alike?

A: Neither has collective bargaining.

I would guess this gets my BOS vote in this mellow-fest: Hot Tuna's Water Song.   Some may call it a Katrina, but still...

Not a 10@10 'trina, exactly, but "Water Song" was such a KFOG staple in the post-9/11 days that it feels like one. Still lovely, tho'. VHM.

OMG!  Second obscure Boz track of the week!  BOS2 to "Dinah Flo," a personal fave.

ETA: Oops, it was last Friday that we got "It's Over."

I don't consider anything from Silk Degrees obscure, esp not a charted 45 like "Over", but OK.

Well, "It's Over" missed the 40 and I've never heard it on the radio outside 10@10s; YMMV.

Meantime, VHM to "Water Song."

Merely that it felt comforting and reassuring, like that Enya song.

Enjoying the set very much, but just got done writing up my summary of yesterday's events on the Core Discussion forum for those interested.

for whatever reason, there were several "soothing" instrumentals (Satriani's "Always In Me/You" is another) that were VERY heavily played by KFOG in the months after 9/11 -- they were seen as "musical comfort food" apparently.

VHM Mr Nilsson. "you such a silly woman!"

Was just watching a Nilsson documentary with my roommate last night.  Shame about his teeth.  And that he self-destructively wrecked his voice so soon after achieving success.

Not sure if I'd heard Nesmith's version of Different Drum before.  I know he's the author.

I must've heard it, it just doesn't ring a bell.

HM in theory, DHM in execution.  Nez needed a touch of pop to make his country work.
