Today's set sticking pretty close to the charts again. Methinks the new PD is sticking his nose into our business.

indeed. Most Fogheads won't notice/will actually be happy.  Here's an old Moreytrina that actually hasn't been heard much lately: BOS Nik K.

Mmm hmm.  I'm digging most of the songs here well enough, but the sum of the parts is not making a whole, in this case.  I know she's done a few mainstream-ish sets before (a previous 1984 set comes to mind, though that was a B-day set) but todays does set up a red flag, so far.

Wouldn't it be good if she played "The Riddle" instead of this Katrina?

You read my mind! I was thisclose to mentioning "The Riddle", which I surely have not heard in a dog's age.

BOS2 Chrissie, making something worthwhile out of one of my least favorite soul songs ever.

And as someone pointed out last week, comments are down on AL's FB page.
Let's get right to it.

Meaning Fogheads are not posting because (presumably) they're not as excited about the song selections.

But those who are posting are happy as clams:

"Can I just say, you are smokin' today, Annalisa! The hits keep coming! Wouldn't it be good if this went on all day??"

"She is picking some great ones this morning"

Meaning listeners are not posting many comments on this set. There were about five a couple minutes ago, 24 minutes into the set.
Let's get right to it.

No clear BOS candidate so far, but several HMs: the Kershaw, Pretenders & U2 to be specific.
Let's get right to it.

I have to give most unnecessary of set to U2 due to being a Channel 92.3 overplay, and one that sounds mighty out of place over there, at that.

...and with this generic sounding REM song, the thin line has officially been crossed...

The U2 track seems to have lit a fire under a few of the regulars. Another handful of posts since I last looked.

BOS REM, just 'cause.
Let's get right to it.

Mary Lou Retton: I prefer National Lampoon's "Gymnasty" track, featuring Brian Doyle-Murray.

What's a "fish hop?"
