Is this POT-USA?  I'll give it a VHM since I don't recognize it.

Oh good, a song that isn't a repeat or "Closing Time." Woulda preferred "Singing in My Sleep," but VHM Semisonic.

Whoa, I've heard it dozens of times.  I was gonna give it a most unnecessary for repetition, but that's just me.  ;) It is a good song though, I'll give ya that.

but where have you heard it? KFOG's never played it, afaik, and it wasn't a Live 105 hit either, if memory serves.

Must be RadioParadise.

I'll give a BOS for the Sneaker Pimps, though this gets a lot of play on RP too :).

Cool to hear this one, though I still don't understand it.  Anybody know where the trumpet sample comes from?

Hits 106.  This is where I was a dozen years ago (& before. :P) & it's kind of stuck with me.  (I do know it got RadioParadise play too, though!) They unfortunately don't have their playlist up right now, but they play a bunch of songs pop stations usually wouldn't be caught dead playing & throw more a few curveballs, at least they did when I listened to it.  They've played a bunch of Garbage songs ("Androgyny" comes to mind as I know that one didn't do so well on the charts), a few Marilyn Manson songs, most of Def Leppard's "comebacks," some random songs by Big Head Todd & the Monsters, Norah Jones (BEFORE she was overexposed with "Don't Know Why" - imagine that), K's Choice (& not just "I'm Not an Addict) as well as most of today's set (including Reel Big Fish & The Indigo Girls) & others.

BOS2 to the Sneaker Pimps...& BOS3 White Town! (Even though this has gotten serious Live 105 overplay as of late)

LOL. You could have figured that out by some of my requests & BOS's there vs. my "wishlists" here, before this nearly word-for-word post, but in that case, I'll just add you. :P

Lew Stone & the Monseigneur Band, "My Woman"! From 1932  :o

& subject matter-wise: his ex-gf was a lesbian so he's saying he could never be her woman.

half this set seemed NTM.  hmmm...  I didn't like that 3rd song, seemed too self-referential.. "Let's sing a song about being rock stars."  Yes, I know it' s tried and true genre, and there are some great takes on that (Byrds' So You Wanna..., Kinks' Top of the Pops is another good one, f'instance) but that one didn't do it for me.

Either the Sneaker Pimps track was a remix, or else I've been listening to a remix lo these many years.  BOS to 6 Underground and White Town!
