Even though 'Happy Days' premiered in Jan 1974:

Is this a repeat?  I haven't heard it before, but nobody's making any witty comments.  Good set!

it's a new set. Tom Bosley's work on Happy Days is the running tv thread throughout, although it sounds like some of the clips are from seasons other than 75.  I know, who cares.  I'm just saying'

yes good set!

let's see, so far:

Al Green - Sha La La

Chicago - Old Days

Disco-Tex and the Sex-O-Lettes - Get Dancin' - Didn't the Muppets cover this?

EWF - Shining Star - someone should name an energy drink after this song: "Make your body big and strong"

La Belle - Lady Marmalade - someone should name a fruit spread after this song

(then some other song - NTM, sounds like Bonnie Raitt?)  Suzi Quatro - Your Mama Won't Like Me

KISS!  - RnR All Nite

10 CC - I'm Not In Love - I think this was a radio edit version... I heard a cut I wasn't expecting.

This tune is NTM.  Nils Lofgren?  Pretty good song.

ETA: Google confirms that Nils did a version of this song, originally by the Byrds.

NTM too, but Nils played plays guitar and I don't hear much guitar in this yet... a lot of piano.  it does sound like his voice.

I like it.

Well, _I_ think it's Nils Lofgren, unless he was in Dr. Feelgood (never heard of 'em) based on my Googlings (see above).

And a BOS for the toy piano on "Why Can't We Be Friends".

it wouldn't be 1975 without Why Can't We Be Friends?

the band touring as "War" has one guy from the original band, but he controls the name War.  And there are four other former members touring as "The Low Rider Band," and they can't mention their former band in public.  Why can't they be friends?
