Did he say they "stole a Datsun"?

Yep!
I like this song.  And nice "I love you" twin-spin with the purple dinosaur.
"Play the tape machine, make the toast and tea"

I dig this song too.

Speaking of Dave - the other day Webster commented that when they spun something off of Sgt. Pepper, he was looking at the CD and saw that somebody had added Dave Morey to the pantheon of celebrities on the cover.  He said, "Which is the way it should be."  And the Morning Show crew concurred.

*Wistful sigh*

This Neil song is a moodkill.

how does a slow song after a Sarah M snoozer qualify as "moodkill"??  ;)

yeesh, Dolby with the ultimate Moreytrina.

This set desperately needed the soul that some Fogheads requested: Prince, En Vogue, TLC...

"No you're never gonna get it!"

Oh wait!!

Thomas Dolby
is the correct title "I Love You, Goodbye?"

nobody seems to identify songs for the non-live browsers anymore!

got here late, but Neil sounds good. Sorry it doesn't please everyone.

I love the Neil.   But if someone else did this sleepytime slowness stuff I would ridicule it (see Cowboy Junkies)..

so, since they never played this song on KFOG, where did you guys hear this song before?  I've heard it before, at least snippets, but not sure why.

Me?  I had a pop/soul phase back in the 80s.  It was high school, ya know.

it was a Massive Top 40 hit -- one of the biggest singles of '92 iirc.  Even the late great KDIA played it (and they didn't play many current tunes back then).

Ha.  :D

Just because she played 3 of my requests doesn't mean I'm greedy... :P (All except the Utah Saints -- I probably would have fallen over hearing that one...but, I would have been happy even if she only played one!)

Heh, it's a line from the song.  I didn't get it either at first.
