"Meal Ticket" woulda blew my mind today.

One of my favorites on that album, surpassed only by "Bitter Fingers" (and the CD bonus track "One Day at a Time").
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

kudos for the Alice suggestion, RGM.

Made me think of KISS's Flaming Youth as another some w "youth" in the title, which of course got me thinking about a "youth" set.  songs with "youth" in title, or by singers/groups named Young.  We could request if for Ponce de Leon's birthday -- but apparently no one knows when that is -- so I would suggest the next best thing, like Cher's or Joan Rivers' birthday.

TANC: Yesterday lunchtime I met up with one of Joan Rivers' joke writers, a nice guy I met a few years ago here in NYC.

I have *very* vivid memories of that commercial.  There was another one, soon after, with another Asian woman of dubious elocution, touting some vitamins for "iron-poor blood."

I don't think I remember that one...I'll see if I can find it on the tube.
