Are there two lead singers on this song, or is David Clayton Thomas able to handle the higher tenor parts as well as the growlier parts in his normal range?

I think he jumps into his throat and "head voice" to cover the highs, while he sings from his diaphragm for the lows.  Sorta like Axl Rose.  
But that high throat singing can ruin your voice.  Sorta like Axl Rose.

I'm sure it's been discussed to death here, but I find it hysterical that AL would regularly follow 10@10 with arguably one of the blandest hits of the decade (and this from a band that I generally enjoy).

Perhaps they're under instructions to play certain songs at least once per shift, so she's just getting it out of the way early. See also: the current Rob Thomas piece of drek.

the only music AL (or anybody at KFOG) *chooses* to play is on 10@10, or the occasional Morning Show track (where they have leeway regarding topical stuff and of course Request-O-Rama) . Everything else is programmed by computer which is why stuff like "21 Guns" and DMB and Snow Patrol comes up like clockwork every 4-5 hours.
