The Traveling Wilburys haven't aged well, I would argue.  These songs wouldn't have gotten on the radio if not for celebrity cachet.  At least they learned from this song never to put Dylan on a harmony vocal.

Speaking of Dylan,  they played some Wallflowers early this morning & I called in & mentioned to Dave that Jakob's dad has a birthday coming up on Tues & that I had an idea for a 10@10 theme set.  He asked me to elaborate & I said that, recalling his cow-bell set from last year, maybe we could have a harmonica set, since any 10-song set featuring the harmonica would certainly include a Dylan tune.

He said, "That's a pretty good idea, I'll look into it."

Both readings of this are equally problematic.

P.S.  Dave played "Laid So Low (Tears Roll Down)" in the wrong year AGAIN?  That song was '92.  He needs to fix that db glitch!

Kudos to the Fogheads for giving Lou BOS -- that whole album is a perfect crystallization of 1989.  If Dave's played it before it was a while ago.

Listened to the replay as I sit here doing expense reports that are due tomorrow before my corporate superior returns to the head office.  This was really not a bad set, especially after we got Bad English & FYC out of the way.

You're stilled considered a smart-ass, so you got that going for you.

Which is good.
