Kind of a slow set so far.  Even the new-wave ones were midtempo.  I'd like to see her pick up the pace a bit.

...and then Sister Christan comes on  :-X

Nice segue from JJ's piano ballad into the piano intro to this.

BOS, Broooooce.

far as I can tell this is only Annalisa's 2nd trip to 1984.  By the time Dave had hit 1966 three times he'd visited 1984 a couple dozen times.

Yikes, "Sister Christian" ain't gonna do it.

WOS to one of the most awful (and inexplicably beloved) songs of the decade. whotheFUCK ever used the word "motorin'" before this song came out?

maybe they meant to say "you're moldering.."

Eddie Murphy gets the BOS for sticking a banana in the tailpipe.  "You take those bananas"  One of my favorite lines.

And it goes from bad to worst with John Waite.

LOL. I don't mind John Waite, and on a good day I'd VHM it but he's not going to help either.

tell you what we ARE missing, some kick-arse rock, OR some synth laden new wave..

OK -- the Smiths take care of what was missing for me.

Big ol' BOS!

Huzzah! finally something truly outstanding -- and a bustout?  BOS4 the Smiths -- but I'm still fond of you, Morrissey.  What a difference it *does* make!

BOS #5 The Smiths

breaking sports update, the Cardinals are playing a day game in Cincinnati & Chris Carpenter just hit a grand slam!  He's also struck 3 of the first 6 batters & not given up a hit yet.

BOS #6 & probably my overall top pick R.E.M. "Pretty Persuasion".  God how I loved their first 4 albums.
