Is this the TOP horns on Honky Cat, or just some session cats?

ETA: AMG says the latter.  Never mind that -- I'm gonna see TOP and AWB tonight!  So get the funk out ma face!

But this is some "Honky Cat"-esque piano on Nilsson's "Let the Good Times Roll".
I haven't heard this before.  First time in 10at10?

an ATBB, in fact.  iirc, this was the B-side of "Jump Into The Fire".

BOS2 Day After Day. (The Nilsson tune kinda left me cold, for some reason.)

Btw, Day After Day has been played several times before, but outside of once as the '72 entry in a VT, this is its first appearance in '72. Four times in '71 though, and once in '73 (?!?).
Let's get right to it.

"Day after Day" still sounds good.  Pretty good piano and very Harrison-esque slide guitar lead.

BOS2 the original Heartbreak Kid -- Charles Grodin rules. And Jeannie Berlin -- did she ever make another movie?

Speak of the TOP horns and they shall appear!

heh, I don't recall Heartbreak Kid, but I do like Grodin.  can you imagine Jeannie Berlin and Sandy Dennis co-starring in a movie?  What a whine-fest that would make.

Wait.. you could play Pong for 25 cents in an arcade in 72?  That's what AL said.

hmmm, we'll have to cq that.

I could play it in an arcade for 25 cents in late 73, that I remember

Well, all right, but it was awfully unpleasant to listen to.
