the third song, which was NTM and I didn't necessarily care for, might be a lesser cut from some superstar.  I get the feeling that some here are going to regret missing it.

Crap! Yes, you are right about that--Mixed Up Shook Up Girl is a great tune. Def worth seeking out the first Mink DeVille record if you haven't heard it (which sounds like it's the case).

Let's get right to it.

VHM I Wish, but this set is sounding kinda Morey-esque, too, save for the MTB.

Holy crap -- the one we didn't wanna miss was Mink DeVille -- Tink, for shame!

Crap jinx and image jinx, too! That may well be a first.
Let's get right to it.

I have to say in my defense (somewhat) that I heard this song while I was negotiating SF street traffic on my bike, AND my headphones crapped out and were only supplying one channel...  so I (literally?) heard only half the song.  I will say penance and then check the record out for reals!

eager to find out what, besides the Mink DeVille, might've been bustouts.  Gawd knows the Babys, Stevie, Bowie and Pablo Cruise were not.  Iggy, perhaps?
You spin me right 'round, baby, right 'round

I felt compelled to find a way to download this, just so I could hear it.

Huh, I thought I posted something here last night about the bustouts in this set, but it's not here now. Did I dream it?
Let's get right to it.
