Two Tickets HM

I may have mentioned this before, but does anyone have the single remix of this?  It has Allman Bros style guitar licks, and was really hot.  I only heard it on AM radio at the time.

Funny I was just thinking that it's rather Boston-like (as was the fashion) but yeah, you can hear the ABB gee-tars.

I've always liked the guitars in this version of Two Tickets, so I'll have to chk out the single edit you speak of.

this doesn't sound like the verison of "Ever Fallen In Love" I'm familiar with, but I have to keep the volume down this morning at my desk.

BOS Buzzcocks, unless it's someone covering them.

it was them, but didn't FYC cover this in the '80s?

yep, on the Something Wild soundtrack, one of the best of all time.  Also a pretty good Jonathan Demme movie.

I agree w Shray: the soundtrack is awesome.  I had it on cassette first, CD now.

Dan, who's a fan, who lives for the Kinks music b/c it's the only thing that gets him by, needs to get out more, implies Ray.

I am in shock: The Police have appeared only once before in a '78 set--Can't Stand Losing You about 3 1/2 years ago.

(1979 is another matter, and 1980 is off the chart.)
Let's get right to it.
