Six, per Whitburn. It charted for a total of 15 weeks.


I remember 3DN doing "JttW" on the Grammys in Feb of '71 and thinking -- why are they doing a *new* song? shouldn't they do a song that's nominated, as opposed to one they *hope* will be nominated next year?  Well it worked out pretty good for 'em in retrospect.

I never understood why it wasn't a much bigger posthumous hit -- if Janis's "Bobby McGee" could go to #1, this shoulda cracked the Top 40, at least.
