Barry's Never Never Gonna Give You Up. Which is far far better than Rick Astley's turn on the same phrase:

we've been RickRolled!!

BOS2 MTM.

Hey, it's not like I didn't give you a sufficient clue.

BOSwhatever Bell Bottom Blues. Although is this song legal in '73? Layla the album was released in what, 70 or 71, and the song hit in '72. Did they try to push BBB in '73?
Let's get right to it.

Bell Bottom Blues -- one of Eric's high points.  BOS2, despite the sound blip I think heard on my stream.

you're right -- it's odd; I believe we discussed this previously and they released "BBB" as a follow-up 45 after "Layla" was a hit in '72 so it *may* have dribbled over into Jan of '73.

BOS5 Broooooooooooooce, skin like leather.  Well, nowadays for sure...

And the BOSes just keep on coming: this set is a legitimate 10-way tie, not a weak sister among them.
Let's get right to it.

So.... Todd wins BOS, right?

That's what conventional wisdom would dictate, but you may be surprised!

Checked back at the thread for this set's original airing and found this:

BOS Bell Bottom Blues. But did this chart in '73? Layla came out a couple of years earlier, and I know Layla the song charted in '72, but I'm not sure if they tried this as a followup or what.

Actually, per AMG, Bell Bottom Blues hit #78 in 1973, having charted already in'71--at #91. So this is legal.

So I guess it squeaked in on a technicality, sorta.
Let's get right to it.
