KPOO's DJ Marilynn will be interviewing Julie "Catwoman" Newmar at 11:30, tho' it's not clear exactly why.  She's 75!

Meanwhile, Marilynn is playing cat-themed dirty bues songs ("Play With My Pussy" etc)

this isn't internet radio-related, but I just wanted to note that 107.7 The Bone played Humble Pie's 30 Days In The Hole this morning..!

No, I didn't stick around to hear Lamont and Toe-Nail-y stuff mayonnaise down Sully's pants, but tomorrow is Ta-Ta-Tuesday...  ;)

here's their "just played" for the last hour or so:

Quote
Song: Fly By Night
Artist: RUSH

Song: You Shook Me All Night L
Artist: AC/DC

Song: Night Flight
Artist: Led Zeppelin

Song: Break On through
Artist: THE DOORS

Song: JET AIRLINER
Artist: STEVE MILLER

Song: Burnin' For You
Artist: BLUE OYSTER CULT

Song: The Wanton Song
Artist: LED ZEPPELIN

Song: ALL I WANT
Artist: STAIND

Song: Feel Like Makin' Love
Artist: BAD Co

Seems pretty '70s-centric for a station that wants a younger demo, no? So maybe they're looking to become the default station for us "older" folks when those predicted ch-ch-changes happen at KFOG?

Judge plays Laura Lee's fab "Rip Off" -- she makes Millie Jackson seem demure.

"Ahm tired of being neglected!
Ahm gonna slap him in the face with the unexpected!"

and he stays in an early '70s groove with Sly, "Runnin' Away". lookatchoofoolinyou!

and now it's "Troglodyte" -- well, it's better than the sequel at least, but I never thought Jimmy Castor's humor was exactly highbrow.

Because everyone should get to hear that this week:

“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

Bob Shannon on WLNG is playing "songs Springsteen should cover in concert" -- and OMG, it's Mink DeVille's "Spanish Stroll"! A fine choice.

Gallagher & Lyle's "I Wanna Stay With You" would not be out-of-place on Silk Degrees.
