another NTM lost girl-group record heard on WLNG: the Butterflys, "Good Night Baby", yet another gem from Jeff Barry and Ellie Greenwich (Ellie re-recorded it on her early-'70s solo LP).

JJ plays the Whispers' fine disco-y 1977 take on Bread's "Make it With You".

Followed by the Curtis-less Impressions with "Same Thing it Took (to Get Yo' Baby Hooked)".  Neither of these 2 got anywhere near the Pop Top 40, shamefully.

But -- OMG! -- it's Lamont Dozier's fab slice of political soul, "Fish Ain't Bitin'". "Tricky Dick! Stop yo' shit!"
