Who knows where the big wheel goes?

1977! One of those yin-yang years....

Let's get right to it.

Just for one day...

Love how this song gradually ramps up the tension. And the Spectoresque tambourine.
Let's get right to it.

we're off, y'know, to a Klaatu 'trina.*

* - we need a term for the ONLY song Dave ever plays by an artist, 'cause this is the only Klaatu song he ever plays iirc.

BOS to Klaatu, "We're Off, You Know."  Love that title.

There were two possibilities in the DB for 77 with Heroes TOTHKs. Luckily both were pretty good. This one's the more recent--October 6 of 2008.

VHM Klaatu's off, you know.

ETA: This could have just as easily been a Sweet side project.

I thought this was early Badfinger  -- or more precisely, The Iveys -- when it started.

BOS to Klaatu, "We're Off, You Know."  Love that title.

We're off (and your mother should know).  No wonder folks thought they were the Beatles.

Just looked over there and saw Lay Down (Candles in the Rain) on their Now Playing thing. Hmmm. Very tempting.

it sounds purty good!  before Lay Down that was Layla.  I supposed we can't expect Lay Lady Lay here.

Stat corner: When this set first aired, four of these songs were  DB bustouts. The Fleetwood Mac tune was the first of those.
Let's get right to it.
