   3.  David Bowie - Cat People (Putting Out Fire With Gasoline)
   4.  Asia - Only Time Will Tell (BOS)
   5.  The Dazz Band - Let it Whip
   6.  Rolling Stones - Waiting on a Friend
   7.  Joe Jackson - Steppin' Out
   8.  Missing Persons - Destination Unknown
   9.  Paul Carrack - I Need You
 10.  Donna Summer - State of Independence

BONUS TRACK:  Marshall Crenshaw - Someday, Someway

I didn't hear this, but I'm guessing ASIA was BOS, not BONUS?

Mark, you get presentation points along with applause on the Paul Carrack treatment.

That said, this was a surprisingly good set to my ears.  BOS to Joe Jackson and his Frogger sound effects.

I agree!  I thought for short while about which Rush songs might qualify as dumb lyric examples.  I suppose if you are creating a complete world containing relic guitars from ancient history and priests who oversee the Temples of Syrinx, you're either dumb by definition or The. Best. Freaking. Drummer. Ever!
