Forget the Beach Boys--uber-uber-BOS to the mega-TV theme medley!

BOS -- Super Chicken (You knew the job was dangerous when you took it, Fred)

One of my most treasured posessions is my Super Chicken coffee mug, from the Dudley-Do-Right Emporium, RIP.

10 bonus Frink points: name the 3 sisters on Petticoat Junction

Betty Jo, Bobby Jo, and Billy Jo. (Not sure if the spelling is right though.)

Couldn't name the actresses that played them though, at least not without looking it up.
Let's get right to it.

I loved that place!  I had a Mr Peabody T-shirt I wore until it fell apart.

Me too! Except my t-shirt was also Super Chicken. I used to go in there for gifts and souvenirs whenever I was in LA. The shop closed in '04, but the statue of Rocky and Bullwinkle (see above) is still there, I'm told.

well, just for closure's sake (per Wikipedia):

Quote
The actresses portraying Billie Jo and Bobbie Jo changed over the years. Billie Jo was played by Jeannine Riley the first two seasons, and then by Gunilla Hutton for one year before Meredith MacRae assumed the role for the show's remaining seasons. Pat Woodell was the original Bobbie Jo for two years, with Lori Saunders playing the part subsequently.

Betty Jo was portrayed by Linda Kaye (Henning), daughter of series creator Paul Henning, for the entire run

Listening to this set for the third time in 24 hours and it truly is a joyous snapshot of 1969. I suddenly have an inexplicable craving for polk salad...
