it's the attack of the A-Z Katrinas: "Overkill" followed by "Owner of a Lonely Heart".  Run for cover!

Has Jefferson Airplane/Starship been represented by anything besides "Ride the Tiger"?

I heard Miracles, and thought of you.  I also wondered if Marty was married at the time. I would imagine that he could have all the 'companionship' he desired when that  song was current!

Homeland Security has firmly cemented good vibes back on Cat Stevens' legacy!

Sounds good!

Rosalie sighting

A-ha! As I walked to work this morning, I passed an older woman with curly blonde hair and glasses who was wearing a KFOG jacket as she was getting coffee at the little place next to our building (KFOG's offices are over on the next block). I wondered if it might be Rosalie, and sure enough, she's subbing for Annalisa today. And getting to play a nice piece of the alphabet too: Paperback Writer, Peace Train, Peaches en Regalia, to name a few.
Let's get right to it.

Well, of course.  Have you ever seen anyone get visibly annoyed over someone's avatar?  :)

You're right about Marty and "Miracles," I'm sure.  His love life has been kept oddly under wraps -- he was the only person completely disengaged from the band's sexual politics (and in their VH1 bio, he gave the impression he was a bit bitter that Grace didn't sleep with him).

we're in the "S" songs -- this thing'll be over tomorrow, methinks.

I had the same thought this am. Once they get past the Ts, they've only got a few hours of stuff left. The Ws could take a couple of hours, but U,V, X & Z are all good for about half a dozen songs apiece (or less).

ETA: Oops, almost forgot Y.

last time I think "X" consisted of "Xanadu" (the ELO minus ONJ version) and "X-Offender" by Blondie, which, if it doesn't get played this time, I for one will be very upset.

But... but... what's the point if it doesn't have Oblivia Neutron Bomb & her lilting tones? Have I heard it?

Heh. Wouldn't it be awesome if it was the... wait for it.... RUSH VERSION?!

Well whaddaya know. I figured Annalisa would finish the Ss, but I just tuned in to see where they were, and Big Rick just played Suffragette City followed Sugar Mountain. So there's a little bit to go before they hit T--all the "sweet" songs--Sweet Martha Lorraine any one? Probably will hear Sweet Child O Mine again, but probably not Sweetleaf.

Hey Geoff, here's Sugaree! (Probably no Sugar Mag tho--that would have preceded Sugar Mountain.)
Let's get right to it.
