OMG: Ace Frehley "Back In The NY Groove"

a middling guitarist, skill-wise, but this album is fun.

I bailed on the Cars tune on KFOG, and boy am I glad I did!  This has BOSOW written all over it.

BOS #2 D. Gilmour another of my fave songs of this year.

Elvis don't want to go back to Chelsea, maybe because Ric Ocasek got to her first?

yeah, i think 85 shot its wad w Scritti Politti -- I could be wrong and will check back later.

gilmour is a fave.  I was never a huge Elvis fan -- I sheepishly admit -- but this one is great.

I don't want to post a spoiler over there, but the rest of the line up is Don Henley, Godley & Creme, Foreigner & Julian Lennon.  I might be tempted to head back for that last one.

And over here we can enjoy our Cars (when they were good) without all the negative feedback  ;)

ETA:  "All Mixed Up" being far superior to "Tonight She Comes"

And further rewarded for staying here with Gerry Rafferty, "Right Down The Line".

Sure wish GR had not gone off the deep end, he had the kind of voice that would have still done well in the 90's & 00's

interesting thought.  when I read that I was picturing his voice in some techno mixes, very 90's style.  But he did/does have pipes.  yeah, it's sad.

and this song is like song of the year, wasn't it?  or was that Kim Carnes?

Our deejay Larry doesn't seem up to date on Rafferty!
