OMG!!!  Terry Jacks in a straight 1974 set!  ROTFL!!!

ah, he's canadian.. that explains a lot.  Prob from Montreal, I'm guessing.  And does mime in his spare time.
Weird, I totally get a mime vibe every time I hear that song...you too?

LOL, mime vibe!  I'm gonna use that!

yeah, if a mime was feeling sad and could sing, it would sound like Terry Jacks.

I saw Die Hard 3 while living in Taiwan, so it was in English with Chinese subtitles.  At one point McClain (Bruce W.) & Zeus (Samuel J.) are in a commandeered taxi cutting across Central Park fields, sidewalks, picnic areas, etc.

Zeus (very agitated after yet another near miss):  Are you TRYING to hit these people!?!?

McClain:  NO!   ...well maybe that mime.

I burst out laughing at the mime joke, for about half a second, because I was the only one in the theater who got it.  Guess mime humor gets lost in the translation.

Shakes The Clown, the "Citizen Kane of Alcoholic Clown Movies" features a subplot (of sorts) that involves mime bashing by phobic rodeo clowns.  I laughed at first, until I realized I was shocked at the portrayal of the insipid mimes and their intended link to gays.

despite that major flaw -- and, let's be honest, many others in the movie -- I laughed out loud several times.  Esp at Florence Henderson and LaWanda Page.
